Using caves on Heroscape maps
Submitted by simple on Fri, 09/11/2009 - 20:41.White Noise posted this neat pic of a cave. Caves are great, I've made some myself but it's sometimes difficult to move you're piecies in the caves.
This solution might work remembering that to determine line-of-sight you're piece will need to be on the offical map.
Create another map that shows the interior of the cave that can be used to move piecies.

History
Naralos graduated from the SDA Naval Acadamy at Gollwin and served as an engineer aboard various military craft until he mustered out after eight years of service. Following a few stints aboard civilian vessels, each of which joined a repetitious habit of falling into SDA impound yards, he was forced to find work each time following rigorous interogations. MalCo Enterprises was quick to scoop him up, and under the organization he recently joined the Phoenix crew as a chief engineer.
Naralos is witty, even by human standards. He can also be quite condenscending. He is very stocky, even for a dralasite. A dangerous combatant in close quarters if the enemy should go toe to pseudopod with him, a trait that has landed him in trouble at more than one spacer hang-out.

SWDDv2 and Squad Assault Move
Submitted by simple on Thu, 09/25/2008 - 01:58....some ideas for your Star Wars Minis gaming.
Star Wars Dynamic Duo version 2
In SWDDv2 you build a squad of two characters equaling 100pts (exactly)
following faction restrictions. Abilities like Reinforcements or
Reserves that add more characters to your squad are ignored.
After Initiative is determined that Player may activate one character.
Each Player activates one character until the game ends.
You may choose not to use Gambit.
http://www.bloomilk.com/Other/DynamicDuos.aspx
Squad Assault Movement
CE = A piece with a commander effect
C = A single piece/follower
Squad = A single CE with four followers.
Build your squad with at least one character (C) having a Command Effect
(CE). You may place up to four other C's within 3 squares of the CE.

Star Wars Champaion - 100 point constructed
Submitted by simple on Tue, 09/02/2008 - 02:38.I took first place and won Juhani (Very Rare Fringe).
My squad:
Mandalorian Captain (Followers gain TWIN attack)
Mandalorian Gunslinger (Evade, Cunning, Deadly 19 & 20, Double)

Why Star Frontiers feels "real"
Submitted by simple on Wed, 06/04/2008 - 14:08.Notice that the ship deck floors are perpendicular to it's axis. This is to facilitate a perceived force pushing you to the floor like gravity when the engines are engaged. No need for artificial gravity and inertial dampeners.
This is one of the reason Star Frontiers has a unique feel.

| A | Bridge |
| B | Computer and Avionics |
| C | Forward Crew Quarters |
| D | Aft Crew Quarters |
| E | Forward Engineering Deck |
| F | Cargo |
| G | Cargo |
